How did you meet?
We met at a party we were both invited to by friends. Funny enough, I didn’t even know whose party it was—I was just invited and decided to go. I almost didn’t attend, but something told me to go… and I’m so glad I did.

Who made the first move?
Timi did! He came and sat next to me while we were playing UNO and said he didn’t know how to play. He asked me to teach him—lol—and the rest is history.

What do you enjoy doing together?
We love watching movies or shows together and trying out new restaurants. Simple moments, but they mean everything to us.

 

What was your most memorable date?
The day Timi asked me to be his girlfriend. He took me out to dinner to celebrate getting into a program I applied for. After dinner, he planned to take me to a park—but it was closed! Determined to make the moment special, he took me to the top of his building’s garage. Under the stars, he held me close and told me he wanted to take things to the next level and everything that came with me. It was perfect.

How did the proposal happen?
We were on a 7-day fast with my church, and January 11th was the day we were breaking it. Timi told me he was taking me to dinner after church. Afterward, he said we were going to check out a place his friend recommended nearby. As we walked, we arrived at a beautiful open field—and there it was: “MARRY ME” spelled out, surrounded by all my closest friends and family. It was such a magical and unforgettable moment.
